As some of you may, or may not know, I am currently studying for my Master of Arts degree in Arts and Culture Management in Edinburgh, Scotland. Classes have now finished, and in order to complete the program I must submit a final research project by September. Originating from Ingersoll, I am very much interested in the preservation of Ontario's fragile heritage and particularly the future of the Thamesford Mill. Believing the Mill could once again flourish, I am conducting a survey of the citizens of Thamesford to investigate the possibility of a new use for the building. Results from the survey will be used to assist the preparation of a development plan, to be submitted to the university as my final project.

THAMESFORD MILL
PUBLIC CONSULTATION SURVEY
The Thamesford Gristmill, built in 1898, has respectfully served the Thamesford community for more than a century. It is the emblem of Thamesford; a symbol of pride. Yet despite this proud heritage the Mill remains vacant and unused, continuing to deteriorate over time. Believing the Mill could once again flourish, post-graduate student Sarah Hill is conducting a survey to investigate the possibility of a new use for the building. Results from the survey will be used to assist the preparation of a development plan, to be submitted as the final dissertation required to successfully achieve her Master of Arts degree.
To make your opinions known please follow the link below and complete the short questionnaire. Everyone is also encouraged to join the Old Thamesford Mill Facebook group for further opportunities for discussion.

Many thanks to everyone who participated in the Old Thamesford Mill Public Consultation Survey. Your opinions, views
and ideas are greatly appreciated and all suggestions will be given due consideration. It is my distinct hope that all results
collected can be compiled and assessed to formulate a feasible, sustainable and deliverable action plan for the Mill and
possibly other areas of improvement for Thamesford.
Please continue to check back to this site for further updates about the Mill and how the project is coming along!
Thanks again!
