Thamesford is located on the western boundary of Oxford county, half way between London and Woodstock on highway 2 (county road 68) and between St. Marys and Ingersoll on highway 19.
There are a number of exits off the 401 that will bring you to the caring community of Thamesford.
If coming from Woodstock, Hamilton, Kitchener, Toronto, Buffalo you can take exit #216. Go straight through the intersection (lights) onto Ingersoll Road. Stay on the Ingersoll road (north) past the Cami plant, over the bridge and up the hill until you come to a 'T' intersection. This is hwy #119 - turn left (west) and follow it for 6 km to beautiful Thamesford.
If coming from London, Chatham, Windsor, Detroit, Sarnia take exit  #203. Turn left (north) onto Elgin road. Stay on Elgin Road - through the stop lights at Hamilton road (county road 29), over the tracks, through some rolling hills to the stop lights at highway #2 (the John Deere dealership will be on your left). Turn right (east) at these lights and you will arrive in lovely Thamesford within 3 km.

We have our Christmas Turkey & Ham Spin starting at 12pm.
We are also having a New Year's Eve Dance on Dec 31st starting at 8pm-2am. Tickets are available at the bar $15/person.
Thamesford Calithumpian Presents the 12th Annual Christmas Parade December 21, 2014 ~ 6pm Judging & Set up 5:30pm at Arena. Parade starts and ends at the Arena No pre-registration required Best FAMILY FLOAT PRIZE $250 donated by Brock and Visser Funeral Home 12th Annual Christmas Parade Cali will be donating $100 to the local food bank instead of giving out candy!

Parade route: Starts at the Arena at 6 pm. Travels north on Middleton, turns right (east) onto Brock, turn left (north) onto George, pass over Dundas and turn left (west) at Delatre. Follow Delatre until Stanley St. Turn left (south) on Stanley, St. Follow Stanley until Seldon. Turn left (east) onto Seldon. Follow Seldon to Middleton and back to the arena.
Westminster United Church will be hosting a get together before & after the Thamesford Santa Claus Parade. We will be serving soup before & hot chocolate after. Come join us as we celebrate the Christmas season with our community. We will also have an area to drop off food for Operation Sharing out front of the church for parade goers! Hope to celebrate with you, because it just wouldn't be the same with out you.

All are invited to attend Embro's Knox United Church's annual Christmas Cantata called " The Christmas Story", under the direction of organist and choir director, Anne Knops. There are 2 performances: Sun Dec 21 the 10:30am service and then again Sun Dec 21 at 7:30pm. A free will offering will be taken for the evening performance, with proceeds going to the Mission Trip Fund for Peru in February of 2015.
