Thamesford is located on the western boundary of Oxford county, half way between London and Woodstock on highway 2 (county road 68) and between St. Marys and Ingersoll on highway 19.
There are a number of exits off the 401 that will bring you to the caring community of Thamesford.
If coming from Woodstock, Hamilton, Kitchener, Toronto, Buffalo you can take exit #216. Go straight through the intersection (lights) onto Ingersoll Road. Stay on the Ingersoll road (north) past the Cami plant, over the bridge and up the hill until you come to a 'T' intersection. This is hwy #119 - turn left (west) and follow it for 6 km to beautiful Thamesford.
If coming from London, Chatham, Windsor, Detroit, Sarnia take exit #203. Turn left (north) onto Elgin road. Stay on Elgin Road - through the stop lights at Hamilton road (county road 29), over the tracks, through some rolling hills to the stop lights at highway #2 (the John Deere dealership will be on your left). Turn right (east) at these lights and you will arrive in lovely Thamesford within 3 km.
